1-2. Outline
of the Argument in This Volume
Let me suggest the outline of the argument of this volume;
it is an analysis of skills inclusive of explanation of its application confined
within the discussion on how philosophical principles are applied to techniques,
and the entire discussion will focus on Samjae and Kang-Yu trying to suggest
clear and distinct framework of inner principles of Taekwondo techniques. And
after the explanation on Samjae and Kang-Yu as principles of technique the entire
discussion will converge on the ultimate and ideal one-skillart, i.e.
Ilgiyae.
And then, I will show you the entire look of Taekwondo is same as that of the
universal morality.
As I've already emphasized in my another volume, The
Philosophical Principles of TAEKWONDO, everything of Taekwondo philosophy
I suggest can be covered by the concept; "transcendence to inside of life"(Ch.60,
Introduction 2). I mean, every
discussion of this volume on Samjae and Kang-Yu can be said the contents or
methodology, or detailed description of that central concept;; transcendence
to inside of life. In this meaning, also you can say this volume is a commentary
book of The Philosophical Principles of TAEKWONDO, or its another version
entirely rearranged in another way. Of course, it does include some additions
and corrections, but its overall scheme can be said to be confined within its
rearrangement.
The Philosophical Principles of TAEKWONDO suggests every aspect of Taekwondo
described in an intensive manner, while this volume explains an aspect of them
in detail academically.1) So, this volume presupposes
the overall discussing context and its justifications of The Philosophical
Principles of TAEKWONDO. Therefore, I recommend you refer to the book at
the same time when you read this book for academical aim.

1) Therefore, when you observe the describing sentences simple
way this volume would look more difficult than The Philosophical Principles
of TAEKWONDO. Whereas its actual content can be easier to understand, which
will lead you to its philosophical aspects.
