7. Kang-Yu

7-10-4. Kang-Yu and Haneul

Following the way of Haneul you can unify Kang-gi and Yu-gi in oneness. It means, factors of Haneul are the objective conditions that enable techniques of Kang and Yu. Why is that so?

Lower your body along the way of Haneul. Then you come to have your center low stably, so you can concentrate your motion on your opponent at ease. This is the key point of Kang-gi. Stand on one leg, then you can begin walking at will always. And then you can at ease follow the opponent as he pulls or pushes. This is the key point of Yu-gi.

And, if you have your two arms neither spread full nor folded in you can both spread it when you want and fold it in when you need. Thus you can easily follow as your opponent intends. At the same time, when you've found out his blind points you can stretch your folded arm using the strength of its muscles. In this way, if you use the strength of muscles of your arm moving your trunk, it will mean the concentration of both powers. Namely, the use of Kang-gi.

In addition, if you don't add unnecessary movement but continue your motion with only necessary movements you can make it easy to concentrate your motion on a good target at a adequate moment. In this manner you can succeed in your Kang-gi. And only without unnecessary movement you can be timely to follow your opponent even without haste. Thus you can succeed in your Yu-gi.

And you can use Kang-gi and Yu-gi only after sufficient training at the end. Training belongs to the category of Haneul.
