7-5. Kang-Yu and Haneul &
Tang
Kang seems similar to the way of Saram and Yu seems similar to that of Tang
of Samjae. But they are not same in fact. Following the way of Saram is merely
preserving what you intend to do, while Kang proceeds more specifically from
it to include going against what the opponent intend to do. Therefore, you can
follow the wya of Saram through the technique of Kang, whereas it cannot be
said you use technique of Kang always following the way of Saram. All the same
with Yu. It can be you that is the part of the world in the opposition to your
opponent when you follow the way of Tang. In that case, you are using the technique
of Kang. In the use of technique of Yu, however, you can follow what he intends
to do having him opposed to the world.1)
