There are many who do Taekwondo in the world, but there are only a
few masters who got exact Taekwondo actually.
Do you know why? It is because there are only a few who practiced Gicho(basics)
sufficiently.
Why do they not practice Gicho sufficiently? Because it is hard, boring
and tiring. The true beautiful and brilliant thing always demands hard
and firm foundation. Therefore, just as the bear has to endure cold
and dark days only with wormwood and garlic in the cave to be a human,
so you should also go through the patience of eating hot food in the
dark and damp place, in order to get Taekwondo.
