Lower your pose in the actions of offense and defense. This is the
Haneul among Samjae of action.
Everyone has instinct to rise and swoop down their opponent when they
try to attack back. Or they may jump back away by a surprise. This is
the natural figure of mankind. But it is more advantageous to lower
your pose and make it firm. This is the law of the Nature.
Therefore, overcome your innate instinct and follow the law of the Nature,
so that you can preoccupy advantageous position to subjugate him and
protect yourself. This is also a key point of Keukki and Bongnye(Self
Discipline for Return to Decorum). |
