Teaching
and Understanding
28.
If there is a Taekwondo philosophy and it is the spirit every Taekwondo-Een
is supposed to keep in mind always, or the reasons for everything that
he thinks and what he should pursue in every reflection or anything
else, then its key point must be one all the ways: It is 'Junbi'(readiness
or preparation). This is why we begin training with the command "Junbi".
Look in the foundation of life and see there must be some danger under
it always, then prepare for it. Taekwondo begins this way, and so does
Taekwondo-Een's mind. And his life changes. Both its beginning and its
end is Junbi(readiness or preparation), so the key point of its philosophy
cannot be nothing else. |
