A Use of Juchum Seogi in Self-defence
Let me introduce an example of use of this Juchum Seogi in self-defence technique. Here, I don't intend to suggest a good self-defence technique, but to suggest how it is important to get exact pose of Juchum Seogi. This example was chosen because it is easy to show if a technique works or not according to whether the pose is exact or not.

But if you imitate this technique, you will find some difficulty in controling over your attacker in most cases, particularly when he is bigger and stronger than you. It may seem obvious that you cannot control over bigger opponent, but it is not, as far as he doens't know Taekwondo techniques. Actually, this hugging can be vulnerable though he is behind you.
Any way, what I want to say is that you should know the exact point of this technique, not only the overall motion.
